I feel happy and honored to be among the speakers for the first ever WordCamp Jinja 2022, scheduled for Friday 2nd to Saturday 3rd of September 2022 at the Innovation Village in Jinja City. WordCamp Jinja is my first WordCamp, and I am very eager to attend and meet other WordPress enthusiasts in different capacities.
The event will have three tracks; the Teachers Workshop Track, the Web Design Hackathon, and the Diverse Speakers Track.

According to the schedule, I will speak at the Teachers Workshop Track, and my 30 minutes presentation will be about Awesome Plugins that will Transform your website. I will present about a few WordPress plugins that can power up the functionality of your website to help you create a good experience for your users. I will also share a guide on choosing the right plugins to use; free or Paid.
About WordCamp Jinja 2022
The WordPress community in Jinja city is the first to organise a WordCamp in Uganda since the start of the lockdown due to the COVID 19 pandemic. This will also be the first version of WordCamp Jinja.
Like all WordCamps worldwide, WordCamp Jinja 2022 is an important event for the WordPress community in Jinja City and beyond. It has already attracted a variety of speakers. These include WordPress developers, website designers, content creators, and teachers. It promises to be a great networking event that will attract guests from all over Uganda and beyond. The venue will be The Innovation Village, Plot 5 Main Street, Jinja City.
